Do I need an iPhone Duo?

No. On iPhone Duo the phone's hinge is the safe's dial and the folded phone becomes the safe door. On every other iPhone you can tilt the phone instead (flat on the table is shut, tilting it up towards you opens it, standing it upright unfolds it) or use a dial on the screen. You can switch between them in Settings.

How do I open a safe?

Turn the dial slowly and listen: tick… tick… then a different click. That's where you turn back. Each wheel that drops into place lights a lamp on the door. When they're all lit you'll hear and feel a heavy clunk, and then you may unfold. Shutting the phone spins the dial back to zero. Unfolding before a safe is open only rattles the door.

I can't hear or feel the clicks.

Turn the volume up (headphones are best) and check that Sound is on in the game's Settings. Haptics need a real iPhone. To find out how quiet a click your hand can still tell apart, try Settings → Feel test.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the estate (the grid button), then Settings → Restore purchase. Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you used to buy it.

A friend sent me a safe. How do I open it?

Tap the link with Vale & Daughter installed. If the link doesn't open the game, copy it, open the estate, and paste it under For a friend. Locking and opening friends' safes is free.
